Global Wellness Day announed a new project called GWD Kids starting in 2018. The initiative will focus on three main areas: Breathing, Mindfulness (healthy eating & nature walk) and Self-Love.
With all my heart, I believe that the only way to decrease the worldwide depression and obesity rates, even crime rates goes through these three important steps that will be integrated into kids’ lives at the age of 2. The goal of GWD is for children around the world to learn breathing exercises aimed at improving health and manage their stress, about mindfulness to increase their emotional and physical wellbeing and about self-love in order to let go of shame, anger, blame and to feel at peace and to accept themselves and others.
